HistoryZ provides general educational history writing, not a complete record of every event or a substitute for examining the cited evidence.
Evidence and interpretation
Articles should identify their sources, distinguish observations from inference and state material uncertainty. Sources can disagree, translations can differ and new scholarship can change an interpretation. A historical image may illustrate an object or later representation without proving every claim in the surrounding text.
External material
Links to archives, museums, publications and other services help readers inspect the evidence. Those services control their own content, rights and privacy practices. Credits and licence links identify the rights basis for reproduced images.
