HistoryZ welcomes specific, evidence-based correction requests. Readers can use the Contact page to identify the article, the disputed passage, and the source that supports a correction.
What happens after a report
We review the published text and the underlying sources. Clear factual errors are corrected as soon as reasonably possible. Material changes receive a visible correction or update note explaining what changed. Minor spelling, formatting, or link repairs may be made without a separate notice when they do not alter meaning.
Disagreement and interpretation
A difference of interpretation is not automatically a factual error. When reputable scholarship supports competing readings, the article should represent that uncertainty fairly and cite the relevant evidence.
Removal requests
Accurate historical reporting is not removed merely because it is uncomfortable. We will, however, review credible claims involving copyright, privacy, misidentification, fabricated material, or a serious safety concern.
